  • Why counseling therapy?
    As fast-paced as life is these days, counseling therapy may be the only place where you find stillness to center and examine what you are experiencing. You will have almost an hour to tune into yourself and receive full attention from a trained professional to walk alongside you, to find empowerment about the challenges that you are facing.
  • What can I expect?
    Each virtual session is 50 minutes long. We will determine together if weekly, biweekly, or monthly is best for you. After connecting, you will receie instructions for how to set an appointment, pay, and schedule future appoitnments at a time that works for you.
  • How does payment work?
    50 minute sessions are $120 When using the scheduling app, you will reserve your session with a card you put on file. Your card will be charged at the end of your session. If you cancel in less than 24 hours, your card will also be charged. Emergencies and illness are inevitable so be sure to communicate to avoid such charges. You can use your credit, debit, or FSA/HSA cards for payment. Dr Cook is an out-of-network insurance provider, but she will provide you with the proper receipt for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Depending on your health care provider some fees for therapy may be covered or eligible for a percentage of reimbursement as out-of-network mental health services. If you opt to file with your insurance it is your responsibility to know the type of mental health or behavioral health coverage you carry on your plan as well as the limitations of that coverage.
